The Ruins of Cilant Lis Minor Spoiler Alert

So after leaving the ruins with both companions alive we spot a group of guys
that suddenly turn to stone after activating that object thing.And both my companions dies because of it.After the trouble of saving Heodan and not camping to prevent Calisca to run of and die..is there really no way for me to leave the ruins with some one?I made sure to search the entire place before leaving the cave and even got the spear from the creature inside only to lose both companions outside.So any ways to keep them both alive? Or are they doomed to die either way?

If all else fails, you can recreate them at the inn in Gilded Vale, give the newly chreated characters their names and portraits and pretend THAT bit didn't happen. You were seeing things. You still are, in fact, so it MUST be true. Right?

That really sucks, but thanks.Tho i won't go that far, i just don't like having companions drop dead for no good reason..while you the main character some how don't die.Besides my goal was to leave that cave with both of them alive..guess there was no point in talking to either of
them, will this happen allot in this game?Having all my companions dropping dead on forced events?

And the dialogues you led with them actually do matter. The answers you gave influence both your reputation and your character's background in the Journal.

Its a bit weird to go through all that trouble and then have them dead without fail, i agree.

I dont think any other companion drops dead though.

First GoT sucks there is literally no reason to watch it because no matter what any character you invest in will most likely die. Akame ga kill is not good either it skipped so much from the manga.

GoT doesnt sucks. It deliberately killed those characters to make ppl realize they shouldnt invest in ppl. This aint a story of justice. As the author himself put it, this is HIS PLAYGROUND! and ppl just came by to peek in interest.

Since the team I was cheering for was the first to go out, I now derive a sadistic pleasure from watching the people who extinguished their line suffer. Can't wait for book six.

Well....you gotta admit GoT wouldn't have been what it is without the marketing it gets from HBO. Some people spent a lot of money to make the audience buy into it, of course they're not going to do a half-arsed job.

I still don't really think it's anything special. I don't think it "sucks", it's just no big deal.

And I was just joking about the influence. I never really cared about the people who died, except for whether they are really gonna stay dead.
