If all else fails, you can recreate them at the inn in Gilded Vale, give the newly chreated characters their names and portraits and pretend THAT bit didn't happen. You were seeing things. You still are, in fact, so it MUST be true. Right?
Shhh. Calm down. You're sick, since that beetle or whatever bit you. It's all but a hallucination, and before you know it, you'll wake up to your caravan having set up camp....
Yep and Peter Parker was never Spiderman. He got bit by a poisonous spider and went into a coma, dreaming a superhero dream.
them, will this happen allot in this game?Having all my companions dropping dead on forced events?
And the dialogues you led with them actually do matter. The answers you gave influence both your reputation and your character's background in the Journal.
I dont think any other companion drops dead though.
Could it be influence from Games of Thrones and Akame ga kill and their secondary main char killings??
I was talking about the manga tho :v wth cares about that skippy anime
GoT doesnt sucks. It deliberately killed those characters to make ppl realize they shouldnt invest in ppl. This aint a story of justice. As the author himself put it, this is HIS PLAYGROUND! and ppl just came by to peek in interest.
Since the team I was cheering for was the first to go out, I now derive a sadistic pleasure from watching the people who extinguished their line suffer. Can't wait for book six.
The trope of a disposable character or two to guide you through the tutorial section then promplty get, uh, indisposed permanently, is older than GoT.
Well....you gotta admit GoT wouldn't have been what it is without the marketing it gets from HBO. Some people spent a lot of money to make the audience buy into it, of course they're not going to do a half-arsed job.
I still don't really think it's anything special. I don't think it "sucks", it's just no big deal.
Yes. Of course. Quick disposal of introductory characters was never part of gaming before.
Edit: Uh, beaten to it. Well, great minds think alike!
And I was just joking about the influence. I never really cared about the people who died, except for whether they are really gonna stay dead.
IF you dont like it then I guess you just don't like it. The end.
But you know, there are more to a show than the characters
