Honestly though, follow this guy. He does tons of build advice videos and tutorials and he did a metric ton of testing during the beta period (and frequently posted his thoughts and critiques during development).
No it doesn't. It DOES make you attack faster though.
I have the advantage of reading a LOT about the beta but never actually playing it, lol
Because I want to be a leader who will not get their ass kicked by one of their teammates
And you can build a paladin to be a damage dealer. Do not have any high level ones, but they should be basically on par with other melee classes. Go for two handed weapons, choose the damage boosting class abilities rather than the defensive ones.
You probably CAN make a paladin like that, but if 'melee damage dealer' is more impotant to your character concept than 'paladin' you're probably better off with a Rogue (single target) or Barbarian (multiple enemies).
But for Paladins is con not worth it because their defence is so high?
Thanks for the help duders
Statwise, I did MIght, Perception and Resolve. Makes you a bit of a damage tank. You could swap Dexterity for Perception for more damage (attack speed) at the cost of less defense.
Dex boost your attack speed by 3% for each point. Technically the best dps would be a naked paladin with 18 might dex :p but it probably would get gibbed on the frontline.
