If you want to hit a lot, then Dexterity will boost your accuracy and Might affects damage. Beyond that, there are talents you can take that will also boost accuracy and damage. Maybe dual wield or go 2h weapon, but if you go 2h make sure your resolve is high, so you don't get interrupted a lot.

Honestly though, follow this guy. He does tons of build advice videos and tutorials and he did a metric ton of testing during the beta period (and frequently posted his thoughts and critiques during development).

No it doesn't. It DOES make you attack faster though.

Damn. I'll have to look again. I'm so used to playing the beta, I forget sometimes what abilities got changed

I have the advantage of reading a LOT about the beta but never actually playing it, lol

But is it a class that can "carry" a party in terms of damage?

Because I want to be a leader who will not get their ass kicked by one of their teammates

There are no stats that increase accuracy.

And you can build a paladin to be a damage dealer. Do not have any high level ones, but they should be basically on par with other melee classes. Go for two handed weapons, choose the damage boosting class abilities rather than the defensive ones.

You probably CAN make a paladin like that, but if 'melee damage dealer' is more impotant to your character concept than 'paladin' you're probably better off with a Rogue (single target) or Barbarian (multiple enemies).

I might do that

But for Paladins is con not worth it because their defence is so high?

If you put a lot of points in Res, I wouldn't put more than 2 in Con. For DPS paladin, focus on the Might first, Dex second.

I might just go barbarian or monk then

Thanks for the help duders

Damage Paladin is what I settled on for my first run. Took Flames (obviously), Remember Rahkan Fields (Bleak Walker, but Goldpact has a good one too), Zealous Focus, Critical Focus, Intense Flames, etc.

Statwise, I did MIght, Perception and Resolve. Makes you a bit of a damage tank. You could swap Dexterity for Perception for more damage (attack speed) at the cost of less defense.

Is dexterity important if you're using 2hander?
Norskebeist Mar 28, 2015 @ 1:14am
I just want to make a Keldorn type character, badass paladin that kicks ass

Dex boost your attack speed by 3% for each point. Technically the best dps would be a naked paladin with 18 might dex :p but it probably would get gibbed on the frontline.
