Monk unarmored?
Should i keep all the armor off the monk to receive max stats?

Don't think so. You need to be able to tank damage in order to play monk.

a monk you should be DPS, but they need to get hit, so you don't want deflection on them (so, no shield) but you do want DR so when they get hit they don't get too much damage, so it's a weird trade-off, for DPS they want to attack as much as they can but to get wounds and not die they need big armor that slows them a lot.

Unarmored. Don't let them take damage from enemy, damage them manually with your Wizard sceptre or some other caster class that does ♥♥♥♥ damage

Wow really nice hint, I never thought about getting wounds by friendly fire.

Monk works just fine with armor, it reduces your dps a bit (not very much) but increases your survivability more, some medium armor like scale mail works pretty good.

I use my monk with and without armor, whatever I need for the situation.
