Does anyone not use fast mode?

This just seems mandatory unless you wanna wait for your characters to walk all day. With all the pause options, I don't really see a reason not to use it. I wish it didn't have the "Fast Mode Active [D]" alert all the time.

I use it - the fast mode active alert is hardly annoying though, i don' even notice it.
I only use it when travelling across a map i've been to / familiar territory though.

I am weird I guess. It takes me out of the game when it just speeds up for no reason. I didn't cast haste, so they should not be going that fast. Plus, the longer I get to play this game better. But again, I am weird.

just in villages, like the carefully exploring of the maps. in combat i even often use slowmo mode ;)

Sometimes, but not when exploring.

But - that's exactly what fast mode was made for. Speeding up the trip back and forth between known areas. If you've ever played something like Baldur's Gate, you know how much of a friend a spell like haste was.

I like the slow walk lol, while traveling I can wander my thoughts about the story, lore, combat stratagies, flower smelling lol......Not at all knocking fast mode at all. We are all wired differently, it's awesome they cater to everyone.

I use it when I am retreading old paths. When exploring new areas though, heck no....

But it's time that speeds up; Everyone's moving that fast ^^
