Slow and Choppy on Good Computer?
Hey there all, just got this game, eager to play it and all but any kind of button press or trigger (such as voice overs kicking in) have at best 5 second delays and at worst more like 10 (especially bad when I was trying to choose a portrait, 10 second wait, minimum, between each click).

I have a AMD Radeon R9 200 Series graphics card, AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor and 13 gigs of RAM. I'm not running any other programs of significance, "Can I Run It" says I'm well over the minimum requirements but it's still chugging like crazy. Any advice?

EDIT: Notably these issues seem to be with dialogue clips, the portrait and voice selecting during character creation and opening the inventory or equipping/unequipping items (or to be more specific, selecting MY character's inventory and doing stuff with it, selecting my party member's inventory and items is perfectly smooth). Everything else is smooth so far.

My computer is atleast 3 years old and it's running smoothly for me.
6GB ram, 58xx Radeon and an old low-end quadcore.

I have a kind of old PC. So far it's running great on max.
It's a known bug that a lot of people experience according to the forums and the sub. The delay seems to be caused by memory issues, but that's just an assumption for now.

I don't know what you can do, other than wait for the inevitable patch to arrive. It's definitely not your system's fault.
AMD 8350, ASUS Sabertooth V2 MB, R9 295x2 GPU, EVGA 1600W PSU with 16 Gigs of ram and it is choppy as hell and has black areas that will not display when discovered

i3, win 7 64, 6g ram ATI HD 5450, runs perfectly.
My game also slows down opening inventory screen or during CC the portrait selection, changing pictures is agonizingly slow.

I5-3570 16GB Ram HD 7970.
that would explain the 13 gigs of ram... probably your issue. you have 4 sticks of 3 gig and a sing 1 gig? or ... is it even possible to have 13 gigs and be worth it? Its an odd number thats why im asking.
Apparently the problem is some how caused by having a VPN tunneler. I had hamachi ages ago, uninstalled it, but it was still in device manager. Disabled it, things cleaned right up.
