But it sucks that his might is just 12 now, doesn't seem much of a fighter, him being so weak like that.
If you played Baldur's Gate, you know this was easily resolved by just re-rolling untill you get great stats. No option of that here.
Again, I like role playing my character. Role-playing a character with 2-4 intelligence isn't really possible.
I'll give you an example of a possible 20 Resolve Fighter I quickly made up ingame:
Male Human (Meadow Folk) Fighter
Might: 16
Constitution: 14
Dexterity: 8
Perception: 10
Intellect: 10
Resolve: 20
I don't see how this is >bad< in any way, shape or form? Hell, you could technically lower dex and/or intellect a bit more and it would still be playable.
Don't forget: 10 is, in those games, more or less the 'average' person attribue. The build above would just mean you're average in intellect and perception and a little bit more clumsy than the average Dude. No need to dump your stats to 2-4.
On another note, i did check if it's possible to cheat the Attributes with Cheat Engine - it's definitely possible, but still, you should play the game at least once with a >normal< character before you start making half-gods. On another note, there were possibilities to increase your base attributes in Baldurs gate, and I think in Icewind Dale too ; So we can assume that there are certain ways to improve your Attributes in Pillars as well.
But yeah, there is a console in game that you can open with tilde (or ò in European keyboards?).
Not sure about commands though. IRoll20s I think was used by the devs during a live play. There are probably others with various effects.
Anyone else got any experience with this?
