So what difficulty should i choose?

Really unsure on what difficult i should choose for my first playthrough, on one hand i enjoy a challenge and played all the old infinity engine games a lot, but on the other hand i dont enjoy game like dark souls etc. where reloading(or in dark souls case dying)/replaying every encounter until you get it right... So yeah hard or normal for me?:)

You can change difficulty at any time.

Start with hard and work from there.

I always start on the hardest possibile difficulty. In some games I find that even the hardest difficulties are just way too easy. Its easy enough to lower the difficulty later

.. unless you're playing Iron Man mode in which case it's probably now too late to lower the difficulty as you've likely just died!

My tough choice is whether to start out with Iron Man enabled and hard.

Going to do a normal playthough on my first character, do my replay on hard, then save my insane run for when the expansion comes out, since the expansion adds content during the game, as opposed to being appended to the end.

Also, as a note, difficulty in this game doesn't alter stats until the highest setting. On the other settings it actually alters the encounters while not touching stats at all. In effect it's going to add even more replayability by changing up encounters if you don't start off going straight to hard.

Path of the damned here, trial of iron prolly....only one i really don't want to do is "expert mode" it takes away all the nice highlighting for AOE effects.

Ahhh saw some vide of the character creation, where the guy voicing it said that you couldnt change the difficulty once u had started, anyway will start out with hard then and see how it goes:) thanks for replying all of u.
