Whats with the strange symbol above the ST in words such as fast, last, most etc..

I wish I had a screenshot to show you, but I am seeing in gameplay videos that the ingame font in words that end in ST, there is a half circle sympol attached above these 2 letters, I don't understand the meaning behind it.

Can anybody share any in sight on this?

It's a ligature[en.wikipedia.org]. :)

Sometimes ligatures for st (st), ſt (ſt), ch, ct, Qu and Th are used (e.g. in the typeface Linux Libertine)

Well, after sticking the backer splash image with its big letters into this font identifier thing[www.myfonts.com], it seems that the font is Espinosa Nova[www.myfonts.com].

The Regular version is gratis, apparently, but the whole package costs (on my end here, at least), 344€. Estudio CH's default license terms don't allow for redistribution of the font itself, so I assume Obsidian has their own agreement with them.
