Can't finish Undying Heritage

During my first visit to Heritage Hill I discovered Icantha's house and I figured out she was a vampire. So I set her prisoners free and proceeded to kill her.
Now I'm trying to progress in the main quest but she attacks on sight and the prisoners are gone...
Am I hopelessly stuck or is there something to be done? I got to level 9 and I wouldn't want to have to start a new game...

Maybe you can interact with her soul for the necessary information?

[Alive]

Exit her house.
Save.
Backup your save.
Open your save with something like 7zip.
Remove her house map file (something like heritage_hill_house, duuno).
Load.
Re-enter her house. She should not be hostile anymore and hostages should be here again too.

I actually did the same thing. She respawns after you talk to the guy at the top of the tower.

I tried to remove the map file as suggested, this was after talking to gul on top of tower and nothing changed, still hostile.
