Winter March - the hunter's quest

The hunter from the village gave me the quest to kill a wolf. And in the forest I found a wounded wolf with a silver arrow in a paw. However, no matter if I kill or save the beast the quest doesn't update in any way. Is this quest currently broken or is it the wrong wolf? (if that's the case where can I find the right one?)

That's not the wolf in question. The wolf with teh Silver Arrow is part of an unmarked sidequest to get the Soulbound Weapon Stormcaller (the other part, the bow, is atop the observation tower in the Durgan's Battery Overmap).
