stats.
Your default accuracy is 25 on level 1.
Use duals. Yes, no two-handed greatswords. Bad for RP.
Daggers, Clubs, Rapiers and Spears will grant you +5 accuracy by default.
Stilletos will grant you +3 DR reduction.
Edit: You don't need Intelligence to be so high, either. A lot of Crusader types (IRL) weren't the smartest people, but they were dedicated to their causes (Resolve). More Resolve means higher Will defenses, and higher Concentration.

Good point. Hatchets are good single-hand weapons, as well. They have a high Interrupt value that makes them rather useful.
Ahhh... I was referring to the "Interfering" aspect of the hatchet, which applies to one's Deflection. My apologies.
Why would you go 20 might and 10 dex/per when dex/per are the two best stats for dps after 2.0? They multiply exponentialy at later levels verses might that is a flat out %. It seems like 16 might/dex/per would be a dps version and 16might/con/res would be tank version. The hybrid would probably be 16might/per/res. For an offtank dps style. Intell can get buffed and boots can be found to pump up the radius of your auras.
I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't understand your comment. Noone builds a character for level 1, they build it for later levels.
I took build from this vid, maybe it will clarify something.

He is building a new character. How can he respec? Do you read the posts before you reply?
You talking about "build characters for the later levels", but how will you crawl through the early levels?
And at any time you can respec if you feel your build is not what you want.
I was refering to the OP. He is building a new character. He cannot respec a new character.
