Devil of Caroc......
Come on devs...geez.

This character is pretty much statted poorly for anything. It doesnt have enough DR on the armor to tank or even off tank, doesnt have fast attacks for dps melee. That left me with the only option of speccing ranged with an enchanted borresaine/durgans steel and support casting via scrolls. While it does work well for stun locking one target(which does usually die quickly after because of the constant sneaks), its just boring.

The racial is plainly bad, the stats are spread out everywhere and the locked breastplate...geez.... Its the first thing i used durgans steel on.

Anyone had any other success on her?

full armor on rogue is pretty much point of no return into uselessness.

She worked well enough for me on PoTD. If you don't like her stats, then make your own rogue.

I have my own rogue.....thats how i know that particular character isnt well designed. Besides which, you add nothing to the conversation other then well...no you add nothing..why waste your time if youre not going to offer anything??? Trolling? Kudos to you, loser.

Woo I struggle with party level 5 to get that companion and it's a crap? Facepalm. :-)

Well curiosity is stronger! Already get disappointed by the first, the monk.

I like her. I don't know what will happen when i go straight to Durgan Battery where she wanna reverse her condition.
sorry for my bad english

Nothing will happen. In fact her companion quest, if you want to call it that, doesnt even happen in Durgans.

I finally get the second companion, got the brilliant :-P idea to enter in basement with difficulty set to easy, with party level 5 it was ok and could finally get the second companion.

The presentation and first dialogs of this companion make him (her) the best, as I get back to main quest I'll probably get less development but it's a quite cool companion. Moreover start a rogue at level 6 is much better than at level 1 when I tried as a main character.

In general I feel companions are a bit meh, not bad but a bit meh. Eventually Durance and Sagani are ok, but Devil of Caroc is a bit better than ok, I hope his development fits.

The character dialogue and personality are good. The stats and the fact that you are missing out on 3 stat points plus ANY kind of a good racial, PLUS having armor thats bound to her(not good in the slightest way) is a huge downside...huge.

Imo the character should get built in or forged upgrades pieces...in fact, similiar in a manner to the Golem DLC character in Dragon Age 2....that thing can be built 3 different ways, and his special crystal equips make him relevant throughout the entire game. Those guys did it right.

Even the monk is better then Doc.

3 stat points missing? I agree it's bad. But really she does the Rogue job well, probably not very well but well. I level up her myself (doing that I lost the weapon specialization bonus but could choose myself the skills and talents). On good side she has two unique immunities that are very handy, you can even exploit it, or at least laugh at face of enemies using such attack/spell type.

I gave up have her managing Mechanics, it's too late in game my main character already handle it (to ensure max companion flexibility) so focused on Stealth and Athletics. She switch between pistol and two hand weapon (currently a pole) and she does a good job in combats.

Right there's some similarities with Golem DLC which isn't from DA2 but DAO, from personality point of view she is better for me but I suppose she won't get as much developed. But nope DAO was weak in term of character building (much better than PoE on design of each combat, for combat system design they are pretty different and no way DAO is in lineage of IE games, only in lineage of NWN games that are a big break with IE lineage).

Thats an odd one, because I'm on PoTd on she dies in the first couple rounds for me, despite giving her decent gear and using active pause to avoid ai derps. She might work as an archer, but Sagani with Stormcaller fills that role much better imho. Not being able to pop armour on her makes her the most fragile of glass cannons, just not worth it.

Glass cannon implies she does damage.

(she doesn't)
