Well curiosity is stronger! Already get disappointed by the first, the monk.
sorry for my bad english
The presentation and first dialogs of this companion make him (her) the best, as I get back to main quest I'll probably get less development but it's a quite cool companion. Moreover start a rogue at level 6 is much better than at level 1 when I tried as a main character.
In general I feel companions are a bit meh, not bad but a bit meh. Eventually Durance and Sagani are ok, but Devil of Caroc is a bit better than ok, I hope his development fits.
Imo the character should get built in or forged upgrades pieces...in fact, similiar in a manner to the Golem DLC character in Dragon Age 2....that thing can be built 3 different ways, and his special crystal equips make him relevant throughout the entire game. Those guys did it right.
Even the monk is better then Doc.
I gave up have her managing Mechanics, it's too late in game my main character already handle it (to ensure max companion flexibility) so focused on Stealth and Athletics. She switch between pistol and two hand weapon (currently a pole) and she does a good job in combats.
Right there's some similarities with Golem DLC which isn't from DA2 but DAO, from personality point of view she is better for me but I suppose she won't get as much developed. But nope DAO was weak in term of character building (much better than PoE on design of each combat, for combat system design they are pretty different and no way DAO is in lineage of IE games, only in lineage of NWN games that are a big break with IE lineage).
Glass cannon implies she does damage.
(she doesn't)
