I didn't care for the nature of the quest he gave me.....one of the options was to attack him and I did. I just wanted to know if not completing the quest any further will have an adverse effect on completion of the game, other than losing out on some XP. Thanks.
I believe depending on the method with which you kill him, you may get more or less XP. If you manage to poison him you get some extra XP I believe.
As a general rule of thumb in these kind of RPGs, the non-violent solution always nets you a bit extra XP.

I always use whether or not my reputation goes up or down in these situations as a gauge for whether or not it was okay. My rep went up minor positive in Twin Elms, if I recall correctly, after I took him and his cllan out... so I figured it was okay with my "good guy" character. Just a ruff spot is all...
Cheers
- Murdering trespassers into sacred grounds
- Shaming and bullying weaker tribes
- Denyl foreign businessmen rightful payment
All of those things for example will give you good rep in Twin Elms. They are obviously not "good".
Agreed.
I just started that section yesterday and have much more perspective today.
Cheers
