Achievements Not Working

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else was having a problem with achievements as well or if there;'s any kind of fix. I was wondering why I was missing so many so I decided to take a closer look at them and there is quite a bit of easy achievements that I haven not been awarded. I've still been getting a couple here and there, most recent on is "Appease all the Gods" but simple ones like complete act 3, craft 3 food items, defeat the adra and sky dragon are still not achieved even though I've done all of this. I have no mods and often play offline but still have got a few other achievements while doing so. Any help is much appreciated.

Perhaps you've enabled the console at some point of time. That disables achievements for your current playthrough.

Else, the game is finished since 2017, and achievements have worked fine all the years. (Dunno whether that also applies to the new mysterious beta released in January 2024.)

Not sure, I may have hit on accident but even than, I didn't enter any commands. Also, I've got an achievement here and there like doing all the gods quests and I know I've crafted more items before I got that far, same for killing the dragons. I'm just concerned because I'm trying for the ultimate and would hate to get screwed out of getting it after everything

Have you been spending any of your game time in offline mode, or online but with connectivity issues during play? Some games have trouble registering achievements properly if either in offline mode or if there's a "connection lost" error in the steam client.

Yes, I usually play offline because I use a hotspot but that hasn't stopped me from getting achievements. I'll have to test it online though since the craft food one should be easy to get

Offline playing this game works fine with achievements. Next time you get online, the Steam app will sync achievements with your account.

Do you ever boot this game from something other than the play button on your steam library? I see in searches (post 2017) that some people don't get achievement credit if they pin the game to their taskbar and launch it from there (steam apparently fails to capture/log the play time for a small number of systems if game is not run specifically through the library)

Figured out what the issue was. I've kept my steam open without restarting it and I mainly play offline. So I went online, restarted steam and loaded my save while still online and I got all the achievements that weren't popping up. Thanks for your input guys.

The Steam app syncs offline achievements whenever you go online - without any need to load a savegame.
