Killing Concelhaut (Spoiler)
This is for anyone having a problm killing Concelhuat like I did. I found this little bit of info after doing a seach here and reading all the replies. I'm sorry to the original auther, I don't remember your name. So I take no credit for this except making it easier to find.
If like me you made numerous attempts to kill Concelhaut and got no where try this....
Take all your group back to the small treasure room in the middle of the keep. Place two of your characters up front, but still inside the room, one being your main tank and the other your second tank. then place your other characters around the room with clear shots at the doorway with range weapons, like bow, wand or gun. Make a save here in case you need to try again.
Send your tank to talk to Concelhaut. When he or she is done talking have them run back to the room with the rest of your group and take their original spot. This forces the ememy to come in the room one at a time.
I only had to try this once. My tank got killed running back but got close enough to lead the ememy to the party. Strangley enough only two kept going to the room after my tank died. Concelhaut and some other monster. It was easy just killing the two of them. I rested up and went back to Concelhauts lab and killed the 4 other simpler monsters there and completed the quest.

Good luck and good hunting. If you have ideas to make any boss fights easier that have worked for you please share.

Thanks mate, really works. I want to rename my tank to Forrest Gump (:
Thanks for the advice, but sadly, it didn't work for me. I had done the stronghold much earlier in the game on Hard mode, then came to a dead-stop there. Rather than reload and do the entire stronghold on a less-challenging level, I thought I'd come back later. Now it's later, my party are all maxed out at 16th level, and still it is stupid-hard. The devs should have either been more careful about creating the encounters, or spawned enemies as areas uncover, making it possible to adjust the difficulty within a map. Sadly, this game is mostly either stupidly-easy or stupidly-hard. There is a lot in between, but they do not burn into your memory. I'm going to try again with Grieving Mother in my party. If it's still stupidly hard, I'm just not going to do this encounter with this character. I've actually already ended the game with this one, but thought I'd go back and grab some of the achievements that I passed up.

Step

1. Use paralyze and confusion scrolls
2. Profit

Give this a try, didn't work the first few times since I ended up with the entire mob blocking Concelhaut who proceeded to nuke me with spells though the doorway XD

I did kill him after a few attempts but with most of my team dead.. so I made a save and decided to try again for a no death kill.

Turns out if you use potions to increase move speed on the tank it messes with the aggro of enemies which makes it significantly easier to separate them while you're running back.
I was able to split them up and pick em off doing this and eventually never needed to run back to the small room.

Ended up fighting Concelhaut in his own room with only 3 of his minions left.. took a couple of tries but I finally got him with no deaths ^^

Thank's for the strategy, probably wouldn't have worked out the potion thing without it.
