All Hands on Deck Quest Bug?

After the expansions got released, I started my second playthrough. I got up to Defiance Bay and wanted to do some sidequesting. There is one in the Docks district where you have to find a missing chest. The quest is called "all hands on deck".

I found the group of thugs who stole the chest and defeated them. However, I can't interact with the loot of the slain enemies nor the chest that I am supposed to find. Any solutions? I tried restarting/reloading/restarting the quest.

I got the same bug, guess I have to come back to this quest later as loot usually stays in place...

Fix: After you kill the thugs go to the Salty Mast and rest. Afterwards go back and find out that everything works properly now. I finished the quest.

That's a known bug since the 3.00 beta release. As why they've not fixed this for the final release of 3.00, no speculations. Let's hope the rumors about 3.01 are true.

I just ran into this bug. Searched and found this thread. I rested and everything worked as expected. Thanks.

I had the same bug, I found another workaround than Jaz, just make a save with your character next to the loot and reload your save.
If it doesn't work the first time, it WILL work. It's just a matter of patience.
