When to start the DLC ?
I played POE at his release, on difficulty Hard and I stopped halfway into the story, with my characters pretty high lvl already. I heard that the DLC start in the middle of the story, where and when should I start them? If I do them, wouldn't the end game be super easy ?

I recommend that you play DLC´s first. Because you get some nice weapons and armor there. Then back to main.. :steamhappy:

If u do the DLc later on you can get "level enemy up" (i've read somewhere)

That is correct. But if you play DLC´s last, like i did. You wont get to use nice weapons and stuff in original story. That was my point.

i'm playing with "path of the damned" i went there around lvl 7 and i got melted. I would wait lvl 10/11/12, the enemy got the lvl 13 skills (barb jump) btw

You mean you don't stumble over the quest in the main game? You have to start it from a menu?

Durgan's Battery : at level 7-8 it is okay, and since you are notified about it at the end of Copperlane catacombs quest, you could go there much earlier for a challenge - return to the main game as often as you like

Crägholdt's Bluff : the smaller part of The White March 1 - level 13+ recommended especially for the boss there
how long is the two dlc?

Damn, I wanted to start them after finishing the main story. So I waited too long. I finished the final task, got the epilogue, the who-is-who and out. I didn't fought the big battle for my castle (well, tried, failed and savegame) and never traveled to the white marshes. I really thought, I could make these things afterwards ... :(

Did 1 after finishing Defiance Bay completely and started 2 after reaching Twin Elms (and after going back to other locations without entering Twin Elms). I never played past Elmshore so I figured that's good timing. A paladin with Sacred Immolation makes things so easy :D

The game creates a save before the final area. You can pick up from their and do the expansions. Even for a level 16 party, there are some tough fights.
