Godlike names
Hi people,

I'm chosing a name for my Death Godlike. In this kind of games, I like to create a lore-friendly characters. Are there any inspiration behind them that could help me to choose one? I don think so since they're present in almost every culture from far I remember.

Have a nice week everyone!

Godlike can be born to any parents, so I suppose you'd want to think about who they were born to, and the kinds of names common in that culture -- and then whether they were raised in that home or turned out and raised by a temple/thieves guild/pack of wolves/slavers, etc.

Makes sense! I should dive into the wiki a lot of more then!

Of course!
Godlike are the least "lore-friendly" characters - especially not, since supposedly they are rare, but the base game places all those kickstarter backer NPCs everywhere, and among them are quite some godlikes with odd names that don't match any lore - unfortunately. In addition there is the godlike story companion, so every player can have at least one godlike character in the party at least temporarily.

Furthermore, since you MUST choose your character's "Culture and Background", you can easily set up something for the "Slave", "Dissident", "Drifter" or "Mercenary" background of a godlike character, who doesn't feel home anywhere.

As what you may or may not expect with regard to your role-playing in the game, yeah, you really ought to make it to Act 2 for a first time.

He's trying to NAME his character.

The game sort of forces you to name characters BEFORE you're allowed to play.
