Avowed will be a first person ARPG. Are any devs at Obsidian still interested in making a realtime-with-pause CRPG? After the fiasco with Tyranny (= some good ideas but it doesn't deliver what it promises) and after listening too much to alleged fans of turn-based combat in PoE 2? (= demands like "add a turn-based mode, or else I won't buy any game from you again").
I hope more turn based RPG's and Isometic RPG's come about because of BG3.
