however, the ruleset they created allows for spell levels IX and X to exist, that's why they are there. Same as BG1, really. The game obvioulsy didnt have high- level content but the ruleset alllowed for it so it was mentioned nevertheless. There were spells in that game you weren't even allowed to cast at the level cap.
That line of thinking will help with a lot of issues with Pillars. I mean, it's Obsidian's maiden solo voyage.
Assuming you're not just trolling here, if you like party-based RPGs, this is a fantastic game.
They're working on Eternity 2, so I hear. I think character porting will be possible, like with BG1 and BG2.
