What Is The Best Class?
Just wonder what is the best between rogue, fighter and barbarian.

I normally play a rogue in every game with super high damage crits and a lot of movement to not die but here since crits work differently and a few other things i was wondering if rogues are worth playing. Barbarians ability to let him hit mobs is useful and the fighter always recovering endurance seems great. I dont play ranged or mages so those were the one i lowered my choices to.

Also im planning on doing a run to get every achievement if possible with solo. damned, expert and ironman from game one so knowing which classes can even do that and not get slaughtered with no chance is useful to.

depends on the situation barbarians do a ton of damage but so do rogues, fighters are more tanky but do tend to do less damage, as for triple crown i seem to recall chanter being the favourite but i haven't done it so don't quote me on that.

Fighters are tanks, can't really compare with rogue on dps. Rogue is probably the best. Barbs are good with a reach weapon, infact one of the absolute best classes at that.

Rogue is a good choice for solo though, even for triple crown. Max stealth and mechanics. Make him pure DPS. A good setup for PoTD is a one handed rogue with a battle axe. Dump con and int, spec as much as you can for accuracy. There are a few ways to build a rogue for that though. You can pretty much instagib your targets with him.

I disagree about fighters. They have a very steady damage, while rogues rely on enemies being debuffed, on using their per rest and per encounter abilities. Situationally they can do high damage, but in long fights (which are common on PotD) fighters are still incredibly powerful.

Fighters are also make good tank/damage hybrids which can be very useful. There were a lot of times when I could not allow my rogue with great new daggers to get into melee range, because they would risk aggroing more than they could handle and then die.

I mean, I love rogues and playing them was to me a lot more fun than a fighter, but they definitely require some finesse.

Never would have expected a battle axe to be the best choice as a rogue lol. And why not add anything to the other fields like might? I would think that more damage would be better.

I think battle axe has crit damage multiplier. It's really good.

Yea you take 18 might starting out. Having 18 dex and 19/20 perception if you can. Con and intellect can be completely dumped to your discretion and the rest in resolve.

Low con can suck early if you get unlucky or something. But it doesn't take long to find a few endurance boosting items.

How come Barbs are good with reach weapon?

For me personally, I liked Barbs because of their Vengeful Defeat. And I made my Barb as a dual-wielding sabres with Purgatory / Resolution. Pretty good so far.
