The information you learn in Sun-in-Shadow is too major to let you leave. It fundamentally changes your understanding of key aspects of the lore, and the amount of rewrites that would be required if you could leave with that information would be astronomical.
Btw, Trial of Iron is entirely unrelated.
That's a fallacy. Various add-ons and expansions are integrated into games instead of being post-end content.
Why? Is there an additional save somewhere?
