Need help restoring save files from pillars of eternity, I have the game complete file but don't know where to put it so pillars of eternity 2 will recognize it.

So I finished pillars of eternity long ago. I have formatted my pc since then. My save files are in steam cloud saves. And I have downloaded the game complete save. Now how can I restore it so pillars of eternity 2 deadfire will recognize it because currently it doesn't. Where do i need to put it.

AFAIK/AFAIR you should left them in the same place where PoE 1 put them (i.e. Documents->Saved Games). PoE 2 will find them automatically.
