Is it ok to have 70-85 degree celsius cpu temp and full fan speed while playing poe?
I have a budget hp laptop with following config:
Intel Core I-3 1005G1 (10 gen processor)
Nvidia Geforce MX 130
1 TB HDD
8 GB RAM

My laptop specs meet the minimum system requirements of POE. But while playing it on low graphics and 1920x1080 resolution, my processor temp hits mid 70s and after a while hits lower 80s. My fan is on full speed and makes regular noise. Also back of my laptop becomes warm. I use cooling pad while gaming. My MX 130 hits higher 60s to lower 70s.

My question is, is it ok for my laptop back chassis to become hot and cpu temp in lower 80s while playing POE? Also is it ok for fan to run at max speed? I usually play continuously for about 1-1.5 hrs. I have limited maximum FPS to 40 using Nvidia control panel.

Lowering the CPU power usage resulted in huge fps drop during the battles, although it resulted in lower temperatures as well (60-70).

Can i play this wonderful game in 1920x1080 resolution while without worrying about cpu core temperature rising, high fan speed and laptop's back chassis becoming hot, or will doing so will reduce the life of my laptop considerably?

Yeah that's too hot for a constant temperature. The occasional spike would be ok, but that doesn't sound good to me.
For CPU yeah it sounds a bit extreme.

So what should be the max cpu temp that would be safe while playing POE?

Joker! I've been trying to reach you!
So should i continue to play POE at 70-80 degree celsius temp? Or should i take a fps and performance hit and keep temperature below 70? Plz help me, i absolutely want to play and enjoy this beautiful game.
You need to decide for yourself how much stress you want to put on your hardware. It will reduce the life time of the hardware, not just the fan.

PoE uses Unity engine in ways that brings down to its knees even more capable hardware. Not even all high-end gaming rigs are safe. In some parts of the game it seems idle loops are missing (like the character creation screens with the large 3D model), in other parts tons of 2D animations may create high GPU/CPU load.

Ok, but can u tell me the max safe cpu temp upto which i can push, without reducing life of components?
Well, Intel product specs for the i3-1005G1 say TCase max at 72 °C and Tjunction at 100 °C (the latter is when internal mechanisms will throttle performance in order to reduce heat). System fan running at full speed is primary reason to worry.

ok. I think i will limit fps to 35 and lower screen resolution to 1280x720. In that manner, game fps drops only during battle, but i will suffer with it. In thia way i can limit temp below 70 and fan wont run at max rpm.
