Monk question!
So what kinda armor should I wear? Light? Medium? Heavy? Just clothes? I am using no weapons.

Can't be generalized. Depends on the monk's attributes (speed & defenses), talents (Veteran's Recovery perhaps) and the role within the party.

Just this: Eventually, you want to be hit as to receive wounds. However, you don't want to receive too much damage quickly, because while Endurance can be restored, Health can't.

Early on, heavy armour because you're kinda squishy simply from low hp points. As the game goes on, test what works best with your stat points. Some find medium is good, some find light works great, some prefer nothing but full naked party is best. Honestly is one of those games.

Thank you. So armor doesn't affect wound accumulation?

It does to a degree as you technically take less damage due to higher damage resistance but it's worth the whole not dying part. Early on not dying is worth the slower wound gain.

Shod-in-Faith boots are good for classes with low deflection. Or you have a priest that casts consecrated ground.

Heavy armor all the way.. Early on it ensures you stay alive... Later on the best armors in the game are the Sanguine Plate (heavy) and Ryona's BP (end game dlc armor).. That with second skin perk will push your DR to 16 or higher.. You want DR that high, because the fights where your wounds really matter are fights where you will have plenty regardless of your DR being that high..
Sanguine plate outshines everything, due to it having the highest DR and the fact that it gives you frenzy when ever you get crit in battle.. That with the monk abilities and talents, with unarmed, will already make their action speed incredibly fast.. The only armor better imo is Ryona's BP.
I cannot see any other armor that would come close to this, it gets even more ridiculous if you decide to durgan forge the Sanguine plate.. Lowering its recovery by -15%.
