Differences between versions
Hello,

pardon me but I'm a bit confused...
Have bought this game a long time ago and never played it so far.
I believe I got the standard edition years ago: looks like it has been auto upgraded to Hero Edition and that the standard one is not even on sale anymore, isn't it?

Apparently "my" Hero edition includes also the White March I & II, Deadfire Pack, Royal Edition Upgrade. So, I'm wondering, what's the extra content of the Definitive version i'm lacking?

The Hero Edition is just the base game by itself, no DLC, no Royal Edition/collector's edition goodies.

Did you maybe get the second game on sale at some point? There's a bundle that's basically everything for both games, and it's been on sale a few times for cheaper than the first game on its own. Could've upgraded to Definitive without realizing it.

I guess you are right. Checked my licenses and indeed I have the Definitive Edition, apparently bought through a retailer / reseller and not directly on Steam. Maybe that bundle you mentioned...

Even more weird, if I add the "Hero" edition to my cart Steam warns me I already have it while adding the "Definitive" edition I'm told i've already just some of its contents.

I'm wondering if i have a "Semi-Definitive" Edition at this point :)
