If you want to play on a desk, PC version. If you want to play on a TV in your couch, the PS4 version should be it.
I'm not even a PC gamer per say. But this game was meant for a PC and definitely thrives on it.
I would say the only reasons for getting a PS4 version would be a) you haven't got a PC or b) you rarely if ever play with mouse & kb and are far more comfortable playing with a controller, or c) you like playing on a big TV from the sofa and don't have a PC kitted out to play Steam games that way.
+1 for PC.
The controller setup and UI is very good , i wouldnt worry about using a controller , theres a lot of similiar RPG's that use controller and most of them are done very well. Divinity is probably the best example , i actually prefer controller on Divinity. Being able to walk around with the stick instead of clicking is one good thing with the controller.
My main concern with PS4 would be framerate , it will probably be fine but i would check first. Some PS4 games run great , some run ♥♥♥♥. Depends on the devs and how much effort they made.
If framerate is fine on PS4 get PC if you want to sit at your PC , get PS4 if you want to sit on a couch and play.
Not saying your first statement is false. But a PS4 forum would be a forgone conclusion as well.
Ultimately I decided to get it on here..but if I like it well enough I might just get the PS4 version down the road.
Thank you again :)
Torment: ToN plays fine with my DS4. Ditto for Divinity: OS EE. I'm playing PoE with a Steam Controller and it works well. Given all the bugs in PoE that haven't been stomped out, I'd go with PC through. Fewer bugs I figure.

I din't watch all of it, but:
The menus are obviously very cumbersome since they are essentially replacing hot keys, you've got to mess about wirth wheels etc instead of just htting a key. Well if you're used to that I suppose......
It is is not clear you can access further information about specific items in the character sheet, item sescriptions. Stuff like "Deflection -5". If you want to know on PC you just click it with your mouse. Not sure how that is done on console.
But the biggest by far I noticed was it's not clear how you can access and manage the combat log which is rfeally important. On PC you can freely scroll the log up and down. resize it whatever and you can hover the mouse over any line to get a popup with the full math calculation for hit rolls, damage rolls etc. It is not clear how to do that or if it's even possible on console.
