Ardra dragon worth it

I have a full lv 12 party
have reached lv 15 of endless paths
and ready to finish the main quest

is figting the ardra dragon worth it or shou;ld i just complete the mast bellow quest by given the necklace to the dragon hunter?

If you're not going to do The White March, all that would be left is the personal experience - unless you don't find it rewarding enough to have slain another dragon. And by "ready to finish the main quest" I guess you mean you've slain the Sky Dragon already, too, so not even the Scale Breaker talent would be of use to you.

Killing it will give you the Adra Dragon Scale that can be used to upgrade your armour or shields to "Superb" quality.

Killing or not killing it will have very minor consequence in PoE2.

I did the sky dragon quest without killing it
can i still go back and kill it
is is easier than ardra dragon
at a much lower level i killed the dragon near the rainbow pools area with ease
how does that dragfon comprare to adra and sky dragons

Congratulations, you killed a drake, not a dragon there. Dragons are much stronger and deadlier.
Sky Dragon is easy at level 12 - kill her first.
Then go for the Adra Dragon who may prove to be one of the tougher challenges.

Even if you don't want to kill the dragons for story reasons - try it on a separate save file just to test your abilities.

If you want a simple tip that will make the Adra Dragon much easier, take note of its Fear Aura and do something about it; it's hugely impactful. Prayer Against Fear is a level 1 Priest spell that grants immunity to it. Cast it immediately, and make sure to reapply it to your tanks when it runs out.

There are drakes in that area but one is a dragon. The dragon is in the cave.
