Wizard or Priest?
Hi. :) I'm starting the game soon and I typically enjoy caster characters such as Wizards. I've played Pillars before as a Paladin, but never finished it. I checked the spell lists of both Wizard and Priest, and I'm having a hard time deciding which character to play.

Wizard - has spells. I like spells. AoE, single target, debuffs, Wizard has everything.

Priest - Eothas dialogue. I remember that I really liked the lore behind Eothas, and I bet there is special dialogue for an Eothas Priest. Priest also has a lot of spells, but they appear to be more support-oriented (obviously). I wonder if I'd be able to be more damage-oriented as a traditional Priest.

But the main thing is, what is your opinion? Is it worth to take Priest for the special dialogue? Thanks in advance.

You got a 6 characters party, just make a priest a main for the dialogs and a wizard hench and the inn. Problem solved.
Aloth, the first wizard NPC companion one meets very early, is a fine choice and versatile, too.

About priests of Eothas, there are a few options for them, but not much content that would make a big difference. Priest of Eothas can be made a battle priest, too, with Hope Eternal, Flail or Morning Star and Weapon Focus, high PER, and then placing the priest in the range of their own support spells. Priests know various offensive spells, too.

Priest of Eothas is a nice role play choice and has enough skill choices to switch to either front of the battle line or support.
