'Songs of The Wild' Task

This task, as I am reminded right now, is complete bull crap. I get hit with a "Deceptive" if I tell her I am going to set the bird free - which I would LITERALLY encourage the moron orlan to do later. I suppose it's "deceptive", because I do give him the bird first, and he sets it free. Rather than me myself setting the bird free as I tell her. OR I can get hit with "cruel" for telling her I could always rip the bird in half, as if I am some psychopath! OR I can literally CUT HER EFFING HEAD OFF. Get hit with no reputation loss of any kind, and do the quest as if nothing happened.

The alternative is to convince this moron to not eat the songbirds entirely, and get hit with negative rep with twin elms AND I lose out on the talent. RIDICULOUS. So what am I supposed to do? The best way to do this quest is to just murder the woman who is gatekeeping me. Ridiculous, and completely out of character for me. If I stay in character I either get hit with a deceptive, or I get hit with negative reputation and no talent.

Who wrote this crap?

Like WHAT KIND OF HYPOCRITE AM I, if I cut this woman's head off. Then have the gall to tell this moronic "bard" to save the birds! Can you imagine that? Murder a woman and then tell a guy killing a damn bird is not right. LMAO

That's pretty good, because decision have consequences.

It does not. Since I can compeltely bypass the decision, murder the woman, and take the bird. With no repercussions. I'm talking I don't have to even bother trying to steal the bird from the box, and she attacks. Not even talk to her. No, no. I literally mean, walk into her house and murder her. As in, attack order on the NPC. Straight up. Take the bird, and you get the most optimal completion.

The only consequences are in my head canon for my character.

It is a very poorly written quest overall, if you do open dialogue instead of killing her, you can be a good character and say I will find a bird somewhere else, paraphrasing. Yet, deceptive, cruel, or just murdering her are actually the only ways of getting the bird.

+1 to perception stackable with other buffs. Screw the 'effin birds!
