No audio when in home steaming
I seem to be having an isolated issue with just this game when in home streaming from my desktop to my laptop.

By default, when I choose to stream a game when I'm on my laptop, my default audio device switches to the 'steam streaming speakers' output and reverts back to my default audio device when I close the game. The problem is I don't get sound streaming to my laptop unless I first select 'steam streaming speakers' on the host computer. The problem with that is that if I close the game on the client computer, it reverts back to the default audio on the host computer and I would have to switch it on the host computer again.

I've tried multiple games and even tried Deadfire but it only seems to happen to the first game. Anyone else had this issue or any suggestions?

If it's not reproducible in Deadfire, that could be because Deadfire uses a newer version of the Unity engine.

That is true. I figured out that if I just uninstall the drivers for 'steam streaming speakers/microphone' it works fine for me. It mutes the host computer and sends over the audio just fine on the client using my default audio drivers.

I haven't had this particular issue but I've had problems streaming to my Raspberry Pi to my living rooms television. For instance, if I'm streaming it's good for about 10-25 mins and then issues start to arise. The cursor gets stuck and won't move but when I'm using my Steam Controller it still moves around because I can see the highlighted content around. Then after 2-5 mins of that it just gets stuck and or the audio cuts out for a moment. I'm not sure if it's just due to whatever the client that is receiving the stream has some issues or what. Oddly enough, it has only really happened with PoE for me - I've not really had this issue with other games. Like D'amarr mentioned, maybe it's a Unity engine thing?
