Was pickpocket ever in this game?
I seem to remember pickpocketing characters,
and sneaking around... or was I killing them whilst
alone to avoid rep drop? I played a lot of the game
upon release. Am I dreaming up pickpocketing?

there is no pick pocking in this game. there is in divinity
Maybe it was baldur's gate, or a simmilar newly made Classic RPG. Lots of these been popping around the last years.

All the Inifnity Engine games (BG, BG2, ID, P:T) had pickpocketing as a feature (as do the Elder Scrolls games, but I digress), as well as the Aurora-engined Neverwinter Nights, which has whole thief-based modules. Neverwinter Nights modules, which are free from https://neverwintervault.org/, have dozens of AAA modules created over the last 16 years. NO game will give you more hours of time than NWN. And it's a mere $19.95 standard price. I have, in 18 years, first on Win95, then Linux (there has been a Linux driver for NWN since 2003), and no game I have even owned have I put more hours into. Dominions 5 is the other, but i've only been playing Dominions for 8 years.

More to the point, keep an eye of Good Old Game (GoG) I got NVM Platinum for free off of there. I think it was one of the sales with tiers; spend $10 during the sale, get this game, reach $20, and get this as well etc.

NWN:EE, as I said, has hugely improved video scaling, up to 4K. It contains everything in the old Diamond Edition, and has bugs swatted, text cleaned up, balance tweaked, and, of course, it is 100% compatible with the hundreds of AAA modules, FREE at https://neverwintervault.org.

BUY the game and you'll never want for a new adventure to play.

BUY IT already!
