...or just report the bug (a few seconds), learn about the bug (couple minutes of queries), know it is very rare (usually happens in the first hour of the story for a vert small amount of people) then come to the realization that's it's not a big deal (time may vary between /right now/ to /several lifetimes/).
I thought it was a "feature" due to budget, is it though?
The OP is talking about the first word or two cut off from the opening sentence... I believe.
That's not out of the norm for RPGs of this kind. I doubt it's a bug.
It's an RPG, immersion and story are selling points and you expect people to just simply get over the fact that this is an issue and has been since the start? Apologists like you are so annoying so don't bother replying if you're just going to tell me it's not a big deal.
Please clarify. Do you refer to what I've described in post #1? Or do you refer to partial voice-over for conversation with NPCs? The former is a known bug as pointed out earlier. The latter is a feature indeed.
Do you usually demand that people only take part in discussions if they're going to agree with you?
Yes man, post #1 is what my issue is. Happens during conversations and when traveling and companions speak, it really sucks and takes you out of the world when all you hear is "t's great" for example even though the sentence was 8 words long...
Nobody knows what causes the big though.
I'm 200 hours into the game on 3 different installs on 2 different computers and I've never had the bug. So it's hard to fix when you can't even track it properly.
You would need to get an official response from the developers, but not all minor bugs can be fixed, or they cannot be fixed with reasonable effort and low risk. This one may be particularly difficult to fix, because it is not safely reproducible and may require experimental changes to the proprietary game engine they've licensed.
You draw false conclusions with regard to PoE 2, since PoE 2 will use a different version of the engine.
Look out he may think you're saying it "not a big deal," by saying that about this minor infrequent bug.
