Kana's complex endings

I'm trying to figure out what phrases I should say to Kana to encourage him to influence his more progressive ending. At first I thought it ended at just Time and Tide finishing, but apparently to get that particular ending I have to bring him to certain places and select certain things to tell him. Which places should I take him to for such dialogue to occur?
