Bad CPU usage
So, i have Ryzen 5 2600x and game uses 1 core on 100% and 2 cores on 15-20%. Other 2 cores are just chilling around, and game starts to lag. For example: During The Battle of Yenwood Field i had 25 fps, and its really bothers me. Somebody have any ideas?
GPU: 1070ti

Well, the answer is in your title. Bad CPU usage. It's like that no matter your cpu. There are certains areas where your frames will drop for no reason. It's because unity engine. It sucks.

Same with Pillars of eternity 2. Same engine... same frame rate issues.

Yeah the game engine combined with certain effects/areas of the game dont go together well. You will get bad fps at some parts no matter what you do.

I've seen hitches when I am moving stuff around in my inventory.

Huh?
My CPU usage has never gone over 25% when I monitored it just now for 3 hours.

Yeah, mine too. The thing is that game does not use processor properly, it does not use hyper-threading at all, and i get low fps sometimes due to this. I monitored with FPS monitor for around and hour.

It seems to use my processor fine and no specific part of it is using a massive amount of percentage.

Hell, I can't think of a single time where I've ever even seen my FPS drop.
I must be lucky or something.
