SPOILER .. Went for a shower, returned rich! ... SPOILER/EXPLOIT/BUG!

Sooo, I did the Buried Secrets quest for Wirtan in Temple of Eothas in Guilded Vale.

After finishing the quest and giving him the bones there is a repeatable set of dialogue options that give you 200 copper per cycle when repeated.

Option 1 - "I found more than bones"
Option 2 - "[Might 15] "I will crack your head ... "
Option 3 - [Throw remains at his feet] " ..."
Continue
Option 5 - "Fine keep your silence, i want my money"
... You earn 200 copper
Continue

Then repeat

Option 1 - "I found more than bones"
etc.

Each cycle gives you 200 copper, in a quest near the start of the game.

For giggles I made a toggable repeating macro with sufficient pause length between commands

'1'
pause
'2'
pause
'3'
pause
'Enter'
pause
'5'
pause
'Enter'
pause

Then went for a shower ....

...

Worth a fix!

Hmmm ... will it disables achievements in the same way using the console does?

No, because it's a bug, whereas the console's iroll20s command explicitly disables achievements.

The only way it'd disable achievements is if the Devs coded that into the game, in which case they'd simply just fix the bug if they went that far

There was one nice thing about it ... one that made me feel a little less guilty for doing it.

It was nice to be able to upgrade my stronghold right away and avoid that nuisance!

I'd doubt i'll ever use the console, esp since it's my first play through this/ game. Got them both in recent sale. Plus, I think using the console is kinda analogous to robbing a bank. I'd never rob a bank, but if a teller/cash machine was spitting out all it's money because it was bugged, i'd certainly pick it all up.

Since i'm still near the start of the game my definition of rich may well be laughable too. I had 100k when I got back to the PC after my shower. Is that just pocket change at max level?

i mean, mid-game i'm rolling in pands, i mean, i guess it might help you a bit in the initial power spike but beyond that...
