Is it worth restarting just to change class?
im around level 6 but im getting bored of wizzard, especialy since i already have aloth with me. I feel like restarting and changing class, most likley to paladin, is it worth it or should i just suck it up and stick with it?

I restarted a few times until I was having "fun" and actually finished the game recently. I stopped playing for a long time in between though.
Play however you feel suits you best. If you're feeling redundant with Aloth in the group as a wizard then you can always replace him with a later companion. There's a companion for every class in the game if you have White March Part 1 and Part 2, so there's no need to force yourself into any class if you really don't want to. Play whatever suits you best. If Wizard isn't fitting your style and you feel Aloth is enough Wizard for you then you can start over as a class you'll enjoy more - just know that there is also a Paladin companion you run across in Act 2 fairly quickly if you're aiming for it.

If you don't own WM1/2 then the companions that aren't covered in the base game is the Barbarian, Monk, and Rogue, in case you want to avoid any redundancy and lack the expansions.

I've restarted several times, and the classes all feel sufficiently different to me. Whether you will find it worth a do-over when you're already level 6, only you can say.

You can play a battlemage and leave aloth in the back.

Believe me, a battlemage with armor and arcane veil, plus lots of spells that you will come up that increase your atack speed, acuracy and give you a crazy weapon with acuracy and dmg.

The game, after all the patches and expasions, is varied enough that you can build a party in many ways and even with repeated classes feeling and playing differently.

any advice on weapons and spells for a battle mage?
I know what you mean. I went through the same dilemma. What I did was just take Aloth off the team and left him stored up in Caed Nua. I mean, you already are a wizard. No point in having two of them in one party. Then I created my own hunter with a bear to replace him. That was the class I wanted to restart with ,but instead deposited Aloth and was still able to create the class I wanted to try without replaying everything. Thats what I would do, but it's up to you. Hope this helped! :)

Definately restart if you want to try another class. If you do not like it, you can always come back.

FYI - I main a mage and drop Aloth as soon as i can. A "custom" mage will alway be better than Aloth.

It's worth restarting to play again, and i hate playing again, so hell yeah :D

Cipher makes for an interesting playthrough and has elements of rogue and mage. Also has a bunch of extra dialogue due to mind reading etc.

Just bought the game today damn I want to play like half the classes, so hard to deicde!!! I did start out with a Wizard too but Druid seems tempting.

Restart before finish a play just for try new classes for curiosity is also a way to burn yourself.

It's both pretty natural and an efficient way to burn out.
