Call to Court options with Gathbin

After Gathbin leaves Chancellor Warrin you are given the option to Give Gathbin 1000cp to be your friend. 2. Threaten him to "stay off mah property!" 3.Or invite to dinner. What are the results of the choices? I picked to invite for dinner. Just wondering what happens with the choices.

Personally I went for the giving the option of giving the bastard a bunch of cash. Mostly they just said it was generous, I didn't see anything else result.

I lost the save, but seems that if you pick dinner it gives you +1 to clever and +1 to diplomacy for picking it. I would guess they give different reputation points for the selection. I didnt want to give him cash lol. But be nice if can confirm it.
