Recommended Level for Endless Path (spoiler)
Hi everyone, i hope im in the right section here.

i´m either way too dumb for this game or too low of a level.
Im stuck in stage 13 of the endless path quest. I cannot kill the guard behind the door. Tried it like a billion times with any tactic coming to my mind. but whenever i almost kill him he just heals up to 100% again.

My group is level 7.
Kana, Durance, Aloth, Ranger, Fighter (tank), Fighter (damage).

i always get him bursted to like 5% life but then he heals up and the enemy mages take control of my party.

Is my party setup somewhat ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up or why cant i make it? What levels have you been when you made it?

The Endless Paths of Od Nua are an optional side-quest, and nothing requires you to go all the way down to the bottom with your party while ignoring your main quest. At level 7 there are many more important things for you to work on.

Getting him that low with a lvl 7 party is actually impressive, recommended level (imho) is around 8-10

Thats the first thing i dislike in that game. they cant just plant a dungeon under your castle and expect you to not want to clear it instantly^^
Guess i will have to get along with evil beasts under my own bed until im higher level. Not a great feeling

I had this same question, so I did a search for PoE progression guide, and there were plenty of answers out there..

When you hit a floor, and suddenly the enemies are no longer all about a few melee attacks, and simple damage spells, and move onto large AoE/Crowd Control, and then locks jump to rank 8+ youve obviously hit a soft wall..

My very first try, at lvl 4-6 i cleared to Endless Paths 9, on hard.. Its very doable, as people are playing it on the hardest difficulty, solo.. But it feels more natural (difficulty wise) when you do about 5 lvls at a time.. Leaving the last 5 for almost max level..

Lvls 1-5 for party below lvl 5,
Lvls 6-10 party lvl 6 to 8
Lvls 11-15 for lvl 12-15

But again, they can be done at any time.. If its too difficult, progress the story some, grab some different party members, better gear, more spells, and come back.. Certainly mroe fun than repeatedly beating your head against the wall, just so you can say you did, lol

My party is lvl 5-6 now and i stuck on lvl 9. Activated all the forges and when i try to get the blights in the main room, after a few seconds the game is over.
I'm not sure what you talking about.
Either i'm not only stupid but a bad player also, or you tell tales, but real big tales.
Until 9 it was easy yes, but now those guys, i guess i have to come back much much later

I do endless paths solo wizard on potd difficulty on lvl 13. :P
animats (I believe the guards you are talking about is an animat) can use healing ability on themselves or on allies (it depends on the type of the animat), but only ONCE.
The easiest way is to reduce its hp twice, or, you can disable it (stun or prone) and finish before it heals

I cleared the entire dungeon and killed the dragon at level 12 in my last playthrough

Well the boss of endless paths is the hardest enemy in the game (before dlc) and was meant as a challenge at level 12. There's 15 levels, so you're on the high end of the spectrum here, I'd say you wanna be at least level 10, if not 12 for that floor
