theres always one of you computer illiterate fools on every game forum screaming DONT BUY for dumb reasons. you seriously think a huge platform like steam would sell you a virus? how dumb do you have to be?

It is known for certain Anti-Virus softwares to mistake games as being viruses. If your copy of the game has a virus, I assure you it was infected after you downloaded it from Steam, It is not downloading with a Virus pre-installed.

As for the black screen problem, well it is most likely a compatibility issue, maybe with some NVidia cards as someone suggested. It works fine on my machine which has Radeon graphics, but doesn't work on my girlfriends machine and she has NVidia.

the other day i just disabled avg and it worked but still i shouldnt have to do this to play a efing game

If your anti-virus didn't pick up anything when you downloaded it, then it is not a virus. But yes, your anti-virus does not like your game. It happens to some games.
