Blocking
Please - cite me a fighting game which is not brawlhalla and doesn't have BLOCKING mechanics.

Smash bros, dbz, dead or alive... etc, all have blocking mechanics. Some of them you can only block for 3 seconds, some others until your stamina depletes, and others for as long as you want.

One reason Brawlhalla can be so passive is because there is no way to hold your ground.
The entire game is based on dodging. People even glitch the dodge to do air attacks. It feels like a toy.
So most fights end up in the air or chasing each other.

For an IRL fight, think people would spend their time dodging around? What if UFC happened like that? Not as entertaining huh? Yeah even IRL you can block a hit.

Not realistic either.

I made my point.

Realism has no place in videogames, other than immersion, and while blocking may not be a feature in this game that may change at some point.

Honestly it may be the fix needed to address passive play.

All the best.

Fair enough - cheers
also the "glitch doge" on the air to use sigs was MENT to be in the game

Explain to me how you 'glitch' the air dodge? You feel this wasn't intended?

Oh and on being realistic. There is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ animals and objects fighting on an arena floating in mid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ air you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot. ♥♥♥♥ waffles like you need to just ♥♥♥. HOW in the HELL is this supposed to have ANYTHING to do with being realistic? Can you double jump irl? weapons appear out of the sky? Lets not forget about jumping 4x higher than your height. Magic? Hmmm do I have to keep going or can you just grow the ♥♥♥♥ up?
irl, just pull out an gun and headshot em, ploblem solved

Irrelevant. Needs a minimum of realism for something called "suspension of disbelief". Not that you would know about that concept judging by your display of maturity.

According to your logic players could be shapeless blobs with weapons and magic (without any blocking) but it would still be a good fighting game.
Hell they could be unicorns with freaking sparkles, doubles jumps, weapons that appear out of the sky and all the "she-bang" and it would still be a good game.

I was just making a genuine comparison to other fighting games which have more complex mechanics.

But if you insist on being ill-mannered then go ahead for all I care.
