Unable to download Brawlhalla

I've been trying to download and install Brawlhalla but I keep being told it's "already in your steam library" when it's not. When I attempt to click the 'Play Now' button on the store page, I instead get a pop-up box saying "Scanning for Steam Game Updates" before it dissapears, refreshes the store page, and nothing's happened. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix?

EDIT: After trying out different reccomendations from different people, the only fix I have been able to find is to completely uninstall and reinstall Steam. This should fix the issue and allow you to install Brawlhalla, but it will also delete all of your installed game, screenshots, and saved files.

The only fix I found is to completely uninstall Steam and then reinstall it. You should be able to play Brawlhalla after that, but you'll also lose all of your installed games

Hello. I have the same problem. I was able to run the game by installing it via my internet browser, that sound weird. But today the problem shows up again. And i tried alot to make it work...

I tried installing through my internet browser as well, unfortunatly this wouldn't work for me as I kept getting redirected back to Steam.
