BLACK SCREEN WHEN I OPEN GAME

when i open brawlhalla it put at right of the screen and black. and i can only hear it. How can i solve the problem?

I know why you must go on steam.Click right click on brawlhalla.Then you press on characteristics.Then go to the topic local datas.Then press check files after errors.
Then it will download the missing files.After that Brawlhalla just run.

i found the error. it was because of apps that has overlay in game such as discord.

my game just fixed itself after an hour, lol

how i fixed it was i right click on brawlhalla, press properties and go to local files section and then press the button: verify integrity of game files, this will make steam command to scan all the files and see if there are some missing then it should work

this guy is right but i think his comment is just outdated to fix it you pertty much do what he says you right click on brawlhalla click on properties go to local files and click on verify integrity of game files and it will see if the files are broken, not working, corrupted, or an update is not working correctly or did not apply to the game correctly what happened to me was the update did not apply to the game correctly and was black anyway you should see that it says some files failed to validate and will be reacquired

for me, it just happens for every time brawlhalla stops responding, and every time i try to reopen it, it stays at a black screen or wont load, and it happens almost every single day, I really hate it every time i just want to play with friends and then my pc just decides to make brawlhalla stop responding, making me do the process all over again.

I had this problem when i deleted some files from adobe acrobat. I solved the problem by repairing the installation of adobe through add/remove programs and then brawlhalla worked like a charm. It had to do with a core dll of adobe that was missing and apparently the game needed. Hope it helps people with the same problem
