What kind of Controller do you use?

Hello, I'm currently using a xbox 360 controller. However I often find myself down attacking when I mean to side attack and vise versa. My directional throws are terrible sometimes and never go where I mean to throw them. So I'm thinking about buying a new controller for this game. What controller do you guys use and how do you rate it. I think the xbox dpad is terrible. I also have a madcatz TE fightstick that I've tried out and actually might switch to or perhaps my hitbox that I've never really used lol.

I'm thinking about buying the pdp fightpad http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Versus-Controller/dp/B0051MQJWU

or something similar to it. I also thought about getting a gamecube controller.


Just curious to what everyone elses thoughts are on this before I do anything like that.

The 360 controller is very good to control the sides of the attacks, trust me. I was playing on a PS4 controller and bought a 360 one now, its far better. I think you need just to get used to it, not sure about other controllers being better, but im enjoying the directions on the 360.

Logitech F310, which is basically an XBox controller with the sticks placed in the RIGHT SPOT

I have no trouble with attack directions.

Thats a PS controller with different style buttons. i prefer the sticks where the xbox sticks are as apposed to the PS layout.

My whole family is using rock candy 360 controllers atm. Works well enough for us.

sadly I went to do the setup of the NES controller. The game has it mapped all weird to begin with so it recognizes the controller.

Devs. Make this happen for me =) i have a retrolink nes usb controller. I want to use it for fun here on brawlhalla to own people with.

Use the analog stick, I don't know why people insist on using D-pad for little to no reason meself.
