Special moves?

I just started playing this game and I like it so far. I saw some other players do some special moves that I can't seem to find how to do them with the basic controls. Are there some controls combo that I don't know about to do signature moves?

Each character has 6 signature moves - they are accessed by having a weapon and pushing long-attack whilst on the ground.

Standing still and attacking makes one, moving and attacking makes another and holding down and attacking makes a third (if you are on a platform, you can still perform these if you press them at the same time).

There is a light attack button and a heavy attack button. With the heavy attack button you can activate special moves - but only while standing on the ground.

Do keep in mind the they are still in the process of fleshing out all of the legends with their own signature moves.
Some legends only have 1 signature move per weapon. The other 2 signature moves are the old, generic moves that are shared with some other legends with those weapons. They are making quick progress in rolling out the updated signatures though.
