Antivirus disables the whole game no matter what exceptions i use
So yeah i already contacted the developer of Brawlhalla and we found out that my antivirus is the issue why my game can't connect to the Brawlhalla server..the problem is that it still doesn't work no matter how i set the rules for it (exceptions in the firewall, antivirus etc.)..is anyone here who uses GDATA and knows how to unblock it? The game itself starts fine and everything works but i can't get a connection..and i really want to keep my antivirus

greetings

ummmm... turn it off while playing?
turn it back on when you're done?

That's bad,do not do it :)
I did that before and all that i found was PC with bunch of viruses that cannot be removed for PC

All i had to do was to install new Windows 7 :)

yeah i won't do that and a problem more is that it wouldn't matter because some things are still blocked by my antivirus even though it's turned off...the thing is that the firewall has some custom rules that i can't delete and it also has a function to add new rules for every programm automaticly and even though i set an exception for everything that has to do with brawlhalla or turn this autopilot function off, i still get disconnected or the game crashes..
i think i will contact the gdata support but i doubt that they're able to help me with that.
If someone here reads that and knows a solution, feel free to contact me about it

Haven't used an antivirus in years and I'm doing just fine. May be because i'm computer savvy or that my habits just don't get me in certain situations. However, turning off your antivirus during a play session is not going to get you a bunch of viruses. IDK what you were doing during that play session but the statement you have handed down makes no logical sense if you were in fact just playing the game.
