Compared to smash bros.

I'd love to hear from the community what they think is better and worse between brawlhalla and smash bros. Specifically, the things that are central to the games rather than what will be patched in the future based on the dev diary.

Better: Items have been centrally integrated into the game in such away that they are necessary rather than something to be turned off by any "serious" player.

Better: The stages favor different weapons and strategies but don't do annoying things like make you move around.

Worse: The lack of diversity between characters. If your playing a character and have guns equipped, it feels lame when other characters pull out their guns and have mostly the same moves with them. Characters in smash have thematically unique moves for the most part, but my least favorite thing in that game is when a new one is released and falco wolf and fox have the same looking moveset despite how differently they feel to play. Brawlhalla takes that annoyance to the next level.

On a side note, I'm done buying consoles, and brawlhalla is the best smash-like game on pc, so I hope it does really well!

Man, my dream in life is for nintendo to start making games on pc. Zelda is the only nostalgia i feel for nintendo games. Unfortunately thats never going to happen because their first party games are the only things that sell their hardware. RIP Zelda :(.

Anyway, lets make the comparison to league of legends. Started out as an indie game company. became super popular. Valve got into the market and blizzard is as well, but LoL is still the biggest game.

IOS already have pkmn stuff like Pokedex IOS [www.pokedexios.com] and two other apps[Pokemon channel and another game which name I don´t remenber]

Probably in the future we will can see nintendo games on PC but not in steam.[ probably on something similar with Origin but just for Nintendo games] Zelda, metroid, pkmn and ssb in PC quality OMFG! I want it!

until I see nintendo on PC actually branded I won't believe it. Arcade is not PC. It's by far not PC. think of it this way. arcade machines are still nintendo's proprietary hardware. you have to buy the console (in this case the game cabinet) in order for it to be played.

pokedex ios is not an actual game. It's an informational app.

Saying that anything pokemon means nintendo is getting into that space is like saying that nintendo is moving into tv shows or they're moving into TCGs or a million other spaces that pokemon is in.

I doubt anytime in the near future we really see any true nintendo (not speaking of pokemon) product in the PC realm.

But I agree. Arcade's not anywhere close to being PC... that's like saying The Taito Half life 2 game was a PC game.

- The action is much more readable and looks much less messy.
- The controls are a lot better compared to smash bros which always felt a bit clunky.

Bad design menus: How so? It's simple and efficient, do you need more for a menu?
No 2 players local match: This should be added, but it's not that big of a deal.
Pay to win: How? The only things that cost money for the people who got into the free closed beta is skins for weapons and characters. The skins affect nothing but looks, so, no, not pay to win.
Share Code to use a server (no friends no play): There's online mode, so I don't know what you're talking about.
bad design at all: That sentence makes no sense, but I'm assumiong you're saying that the game is terribly designed. That's your opinion, and if you dislike it, don't play it.
This game doesn't have gravity: It actually does, and since you're comparing it to Super Smash Bros, consider the gravity in that game.
Its flash!: It's a PC game.
Its a copy of SSB at all: Doesn't make sense, but no, it's not a copy of SSB, or it would be MUCH more similar. A brawler is a brawler, they have large similarities.
