Weird Lag
im having lots of instances where im hitting players, i see the hit animation, then they instantly can hit me back, or it was registered as a dodge, i have hit players out of the stage and then they jump back after the death animation.

it happens every game im in, my connection is great so i would think(img below), and im wired.

it wasnt this bad or apparent before, is anyone else having this problem

lmfao not calling you....the hit confirmation isnt something i cant rely on....sometimes hits dont stick, or is there some secret tech that i missed, that gives people super recovery

Where do you live? Occasionally in ranked, people teleport, or when i throw a bomb, i can hear the explosion on impact and see the player burning but they don't fly anywhere, i just assume I lagged and they dodged it but thats occasional.

wow the new update lags more than before, there literally is a 0.5 second delay in all my movements using 4g now that wasn't there before.
Each update is wrecking the game for me, i have no idea why they decided to nerf the spear's hitbox too. What. The. Heck?

i live in NY....i pinged a server in atlanta, and i have 29ms ping...so i shouldnt be laggin, but there is something screwy with the connections as of late

Fix > Add

Bandwidth has very little to do with your connection to our server. It's all about latency and consistency of connection. If you have a 100ms connection that occasionally bursts to 300ms, you like end get getting treated more harsh than someone who has a constant 125ms connection. Without doing it, it creates an extremely frustrating match for your opponents as you would be popping all over the place.

While I know it might be frustrating right now, your connection will improve as we have servers closer to you, and we are still fine tuning where that input delay is needed, but it is important to ensure fair matches for both sides.

Your speedtest doesnt say anything about the connection to the Atlanta server, you only checked your ping to a totally random server that doesnt matter. Your ping to the brawlhalla server is important.
Right click windows button, "run", then enter "cmd" and the console opens and put "ping brawlhalla.com " in there + "enter". Then you get your ping for 4 packages sent. If you want to extend it over a longer period of time you put "ping brawlhalla.com -n 100" instead.

To Tyveris: It would probably be better to add how players can access the console to test their ping to the network thread, many usually dont know how and just try "useless" speedtests.

thing is my ping is lower than 100ms...BUT im not the one with the advantage, im more so the one hurt, possibly from the other players connection....it isnt a MAJOR lag, where the person is skipping all over the place(even tho that happens at times), its hitting players, then it reregisters them as not hit, or i see the hit and then they can dodge, recover and strike me back

Your ping is good, you can also try the "ping brawlhalla.com -n 100" one to make sure that you dont have lag spikes. Just wanted to tell the usual way to get your ping, the exact one.
The problem you see is that the other player probably has bad ping(Tyveris described it) and it causes lag even for you as the player with the good ping. The game is coupled with your opponent. At the moment there arent more localized servers yet, so you have to bear with it until the players farer away can use their own servers. Or play at times where more people from the US play, its more likely you get paired up with people with better ping.

I'm having the exact same issues as the OP. I'm not upset about it or anything because i know it's in beta and it will get better over time. This is purely to give the devs more information.

Here are my ping results to the brawlhalla server http://i.imgur.com/593lAyM.jpg
