Lost connection to server?

I noticed that my opponents left quite a lot during the battles and now I suddenly got that error message and got back to the start screen where the server was red(offline). But when restarted it was green(online) again. This happened the 2-3 rd time.

That's also happened to me before, but one of those times was when the devs were installing a new version. Another reason I've left battles is because suddenly my controller stops sending commands. To get control back I have to restart. It may be my controller or something I'm doing, but if anyone else has had similar issues with controls it may be another thing to look into.

ChumbleSpuzz, did the controller stop accepting all input (did even the Start Button to bring up the Options not work?), or did just movement and attacks stop working, or did just movement stop working?

All input stopped, but the last time it happened I checked and the keyboard was working. I use an older Logitech F310 and lately I am suspecting I just need an upgrade. I figured I would ask in case it was happening to others.

hey ChumbleSpuzz I use to use a F310 and it just started disconnecting for no reason till eventualy it wouldn't connet at all so i did some research and some people had the problem of the wire just wearing out, might want to look into logitechs warranty on them I think its like 3 years or something like that, btw i keep running into you in matches and it always seems to end super close, like one kill decides the winner close

@ChumbleSpuzz, It sounds like it's kind of "flickering" its connection, if you will. I may be able to help with that. I will put it on my list.

@RobotZomby - Glad I'm not alone in the F310 department, and I will look into the wire/warranty possibility. I definitely noticed any matches you and I are in are a very close win or lose! I like those kind of fights best.

@ Relai - I feel like I hijacked your topic with my controller comment. I meant to offer it as a possibility for the disconnect, perhaps the devs could clarify if they are aware of or have recently discovered anything else that may cause lost connections?

Just to get back to the original topic, Relai we're looking at a few connection issues and hopefully can clear things up for you.

@ChumbleSpuzz, I put in a fix that should be present in 0.0.4. If your controller has a momentary disconnect, it should reconnect you to the character you were using. The game may experience a short freeze (< 1 sec) when discovering a controller; this is normal. Oh, and thank you. Mega Man X actually provided some of the inspriration for our wall jumping mechanic :)
