Is it just me or is Brynn god-tier?
Lore aside, she is one damn strong character. She doesn't really lack anything at all, with obnoxious movesets and large strengths for such an agile character, it will really be interesting to see what the next patches have in store for her.

Hint: gut.

Yes, she is very broken.

I think it's because she's new and people are unfamiliar with her moves. I don't really think she's as good as people are saying she is right now.

This is probably a big part of it as we usually see this type of post when a new character comes out. Also, some of her moves are very different compared to what you are used to.

We'll keep an eye on it though.
I don't know if she's OP or not; she certainly isn't going to allow people who aren't familiar with axe or spear weapons to automatically dominate a match. Anyway, she seems to have rather average stats on everything outside of agility, so I don't think she'd be that hard to overcome by people who know what they're doing. Biggest thing is people just have to get used to her specials and learning the cues as to avoid 'em.

That being said, again, she does seem to be quite the Jack of All Trades, with all of her stats being right-in-the-middle average outside of her speed, so if we're going to look at things that way, perhaps a slight giving in one or two areas, perhaps in defense or attack damage (depending on whether female valkaries are very much less-powerful in those regards than the male valkaries...shoot, are there male valkaries? I really need to read up on this...).

Most of her signatures have a lot of starting or end lag which leaves her hanging for quite some time not to mention, while most of them travel rather far, most their hitboxes are pretty narrow and rely a lot on positioning. I think she balances out pretty well.
I'm yet getting used to her; would people say there are a lot of force in her heavy signiatures with the spear, especially with the forward-heavy? I haven't landed a hit with that particular move on anyone at orange or red yet, but teh way she executes make the hits look like they'd be a bit soft for some reason...

Also, does anyone have an official fighting-games acronym glossary or something?

I'd like to believe I've played a good bit of Brynn as well as playing against her and I'll start by saying that it is too soon to come to a conclusion on how good or bad Brynn is. That being said, some observations are that her signatures are very precise and challengeing to use properly. Her kit with Spear Axe is very good this patch with Axe and Spear both being fast weapons with quick light attacks. She tends to have difficulty with more powerful Legends due to being vunerable during signature start and end frames.

TL;DR: She can definitely be good in the right hands but seems to be very balanced in her vunerabilities.

Naw I fought Lazy J1 and he played hit and run the entire time (forcing me to do the same) and Brynn doesn't do good at hit and run.
I'm guessing a hit and run in this game is where you hit an opponent for one or two strikes then retreat until you can hit again? You mentioned that in a couple of your latest threads, so I want to make sure I know what you're talking about (still new to fighting games and such).

The only thing about her I would personally change about her are some slight properties of her spear sigs. I feel like her down signature should deal less force as it's basically her bread and butter damage racking move and gives her little reason to use her other two sigs over it. And I feel like her other two sigs should have more force since they truly are very precision and positioning intensive not to mention rather slow. They feel more like they should be "sniping" moves while her down sig does the legwork as damage utility. Or pehaps her neutral and side sigs could do with a little less starting lag. I'm just spitballing at the moment. I'm still labbing it up with her as we speak.

Brynn is amazing. And I feel like a mother goose sweeping down on my opponents

Yeah that down axe signature makes me so happy.

guns work well against her also people arent use to her moves

she is counterable by faster classes. axe with speedy class is overpowered though, they need to make the axe weapon smaller or change the attacks

Yeah well I just was in 1v1 with her and she was able to dodge almsot immediately after a side heavy. Her recovery time is too quick. I'm not the only one who has this opinion.
